(Dec.) Prior to his death in 2010, Mike was in the fire service since 1977, specializing since 1981 in technical heavy rescue. He was the founding president of Urban Search & Rescue, Inc. and teaches heavy rescue systems for the CA State Fire Marshal's Office. He was a member of many FEMA task forces and other specialty groups and lectured extensively on disaster situations that involve technical rescue. |
