Kent is the Clinical PRofessor of Medicine at the University of California, Sanfrancisco and Berkeley. He is also a practicing emergency physician and medical toxicologist involved in developing and teaching protocols for the medical management of hazardous materials victims. Kent is also editor of the widely-used handbook Poisoning and Drug Overdose.
