Kenneth Honig, CEM, LPN, EMT-P
Currently Kenn is Senior Program Coordinator for the training/consulting firm Critical Incident Management and Training, Inc. He has spent more than 20 years in law enforcement, emergency medical services and firefighting including serving as a commanding officer with the police force of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He participated in the initial response to the 1993 terrorist bombing and 9-11 attack at the World Trade Center, where he served as the Emergency Operations Center Manager for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. He later served as Police Commanding Officer at John F. Kennedy International Airport & LaGuardia Airport and has responded to eleven aircraft crashes, both on and off an airport. Kenn has been an instructor at the Port Authority Police Academy, the Bergen County EMS Academy, Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, United Nations Headquarters, the International School of Airport and Seaport Security and the NYPD-DHS Joint Infrastructure Protection Training Center. He serves on the executive board of the International Association of Emergency Managers and is Vice Chair of the Security Committee of the American Association of Port Authorities.
