Streaming Instructions

For streaming, these programs require Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player Version 11.0 or higher, a free program available from Microsoft. To save time, update your Windows Media Player to Version 11 before you proceed. We recommend you use Internet Explorer, as some customers who have tried to use Firefox have been unsuccessful. At this time we are unable to stream our programs on the MAC operating system.

If you have any questions, there is a "Contact Us" link that goes to e-mail. We are also available by phone at (800) 842-0999 during normal working hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30 EST)

  • After you select your programs and start to checkout, you will be asked to register prior to payment.
  • All orders must be prepaid by credit card: Mastercard and VISA credit cards are accepted.
  • After your payment has been accepted, you can either immediately download the program by clicking on the button that says "Begin Download Now," or you can download the program later by going back into My Account on the www.emergencyfilmgroup.com site and clicking View.
  • The program will download to your computer as a Progressive Download. The files are large, 250-300Mb. It's best to let it buffer for at least a couple minutes before hitting the 'Play' button. If the program pauses during play, it is buffering. Give it a minute or two, then hit the Play button again. This will only happen during the first play of your license.
  • To stream the program in it's entirety before watching could take 15 minutes or even longer, depending on connection speed.
  • If you make a mistake, go back into My Account on the download page (www.emergencyfilmgroup.com) and restart your download. However, you can only do this one time on the one-play license before the license will expire. Most problems have been caused by customers who do not use Internet Explorer, or who try to use an incompatible version of Windows Media Player (earlier than Version 11.0)
Managing a multiple license purchase
If you have purchased a multiple view license, you must stream the program in it's entirety the first time so that it downloads completely. Then save the file to a Playlist in your Windows Media Library. To do this, click Library (on the menu bar), then right click on the name of the program, then Add To--> and select a Playlist. The next time you wish to show the program, simply open Windows Media and select the program from the playlist.

After you have viewed the program up to the limit of your subscription, you will be directed to the store to renew your subscription license if you wish to purchase additional views.
