An incident involving mass casualties from a hazardous materials or WMD event would place healthcare facilities and staff at risk as contaminated people show up for help. Most of the training on contamination prevention techniques that currently exists is geared towards fire departments and other emergency responders.This first receiver training was developed especially for personnel at hospitals and at other types of medical facilities. The package includes 4 DVDs plus an Instructor Guide/Student Workbook.

The four modules are:

The Guide includes everything an Instructor requires to organize and present a training seminar and to apply the lessons to your facility: agenda, objectives, ideas for activities & drills, and both pre- and post-seminar tests. Also included are reference materials that will be of interest to First Receivers.
