Stephan Phillip (Phil) Glenn, CDR USCG, Retired Commander Stephan P. Glenn is President and Administrative Director of Clean Channel Association (CCA). CCA is a non-profit corporation, which provides a cooperative response to large oil or chemical spills, or threats of such spills, in the Houston Ship Channel, Galveston Bay and Freeport. Prior to joining CCA in 1998, Commander Glenn completed a 21-year career in the U.S. Coast Guard. During his career he had a wide variety of assignments with strong involvement in marine safety, environmental response and industrial hygiene. He served two tours with the National Strike Force and also served as Commanding Officer, Marine Safety Unit Galveston. Commander Glenn is a graduate of Virginia Tech and also holds a Master of Arts from the Citadel and Master of Science from the University of Cincinnati. |
