Marty is Manager of Urban Search & Rescue for the Dauphin County (PA) Emergency Management Agency. He is detailed to PA Task Force One, where he serves as the Program Manager and Lead Planning Officer. I this capacity, he has deployed to the Hurricane Katrina and the 9/11 World Trade Center Attack, He has served on the National Incident Support Team Blue as Planning Section Chief, deploying to Hurricanes Ike and Gustav in 2008 and to the 2009 North Dakota Flooding. Marty holds national certification as a Fire Fighter I, II, & III, a Building Inspector I, & II, Fire Service Instructor I, II, & III, Fire Officer I, II, & III, as well as Emergency Management Professional Certification from The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. Marty has retired as a Deputy Fire Chief with the Air National Guard and served at the Baghdad International Airport, during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
